Welcome to Chynologic

This is the first post on the new Chynologic blog! After running on Redwood SDK for a while, I decided it was time to migrate to Astro — a framework that’s purpose-built for content-driven sites.

Why the move?

Redwood SDK served me well for building interactive, server-driven apps. But for a blog, I wanted something that embraces static-first thinking with MDX support baked in. Astro delivers exactly that: fast pages, great markdown/MDX authoring, and a flexible island architecture when I need interactivity.

What to expect

I’ll be writing about web development, tooling, and the things I learn along the way. Expect posts about:

• Astro — tips, patterns, and integrations
• Full-stack development — from APIs to deployment
• Developer experience — making the craft more enjoyable
